Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Launched: 200 MP Camera, 8+ Gen 1, 125W Charger

Motorola has added a new smartphone in the Edge series named Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. In our previous post, we revealed the key specifications of this device. But now, Motorola has officially launched the phone globally. It is expected to launch the phone on 13th September 2022 in India.

The main highlight of this smartphone is that it brings a 200 MP rear camera setup. We remind you that it is the World’s first phone that comes with a 200 MP sensor. However, the headset has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 144 Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 60 MP selfie camera, and 4,500 mAh battery with 125W fast charging. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Design

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with an attractive and premium design. On the rear side, there is a triple camera setup with an LED flashlight. The whole camera setup comes in a rectangular module. On the center of the back, there is the brand’s logo.

Coming to the front side, there is a quite big bezel-less display. The chin is very small and the screen is curved which looks very premium. There is a punch-hole cutout in the upper center for the selfie camera. Motorola has offered an in-display fingerprint sensor in this smartphone.

Display, CPU, and Software

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, it has a 144 Hz fast refresh rate with HDR 10+ support. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with octa-core processor. The processor has paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM & 256GB UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. Additionally, the smartphone runs on Android 12 based on MyUX out of the box.

Camera and Battery

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with a triple camera setup including a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor with OIS, a 50 MP Ultra-Wide camera, and a 12 MP Telephoto sensor. There is a 60 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. Moreover, there is a 4,500 mAh big battery with 125W fast charging support. And it also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.

Connectivity and Security

Talking about connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging. For biometric security, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has an in-display fingerprint sensor. There is a dual speaker.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Price in India

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra starts at a price of EUR 899.99 (Approximately Rs 72,900). So it is expected the smartphone will be available in India between Rs 70,000 to Rs 75,000. The company hasn’t launched the smartphone in India yet. There will be two color options – Starlight White and Interstellar Black.
