Sometimes your device isn’t receiving the update notification. So you need to check for updates manually.

Just go to the device Settings > System > System update. Your smartphone will search for the new system update and you will get notified if a new update is available on your device. Simply grab the firmware version by downloading and installing it. Otherwise, you will see a message that THE SYSTEM IS ALREADY IN THE LATEST VERSION. That means there is no system update on your phone.

Nothing Phone (1) comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, it has a 120 Hz fast refresh rate. The Nothing Phone (1) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC with octa-core processor. The processor has paired with 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM & 128 GB UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. Additionally, the smartphone will run on Android 12 out of the box. Nothing promised to give 2 Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

Camera and Battery

Nothing Phone (1) comes with a dual-camera setup including a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP Ultra-Wide camera with an Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor. There is a 16 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. Moreover, there is a 4,500 mAh big battery with 33W charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging support.

Connectivity and Security

Talking about connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging. For biometric security, the Nothing Phone (1) has an optical type in-display fingerprint sensor. There is a dual speaker for multimedia.
