POCO launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G in India earlier this month and the phone is still on sale recently. Now, the company is preparing to announce a new smartphone in the country – the POCO M4 Pro. This is expected to be a 4G variant for the recently announced smartphone. Interestingly, the smartphone was launched on the same day as its global launch, on February 28. The POCO M4 Pro is expected to be the redesigned Redmi Note 11S, launched earlier this month in India.

POCO’s M4 Pro has already been spotted on many certification sites giving us an idea of what to expect in the upcoming smartphone. The POCO M4 Pro originated from Geekbench with model number “2201117SI”. The listing ensured that the M4 Pro would come with the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset under the hood. The smartphone registered a single-core score of 526 and a multi-core score of 1832 on the Geekbench benchmark.
Poco M4 Pro 4G Specs and Features
As for other specifications, we expect them to be similar to the Redmi Note 11S. Therefore, the POCO M4 Pro can have a 6.43 inch FHD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. We expect the smartphone to come with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. In addition, it can boast a 5,000mAh battery backed by a 33W charger. The M4 Pro is said to be running Android 11 based on MIUI 12.5 out of the box.The Redmi Note 11S and POCO M4 Pro could be the same. When it comes to optics, we are expecting a large camera module with a POCO logo that includes three camera settings. The POCO M4 Pro is rumored to have a 64MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro snapper. Previously, it could come with a 16MP camera for photos you took.
Poco M4 Pro 4G Price
There is no word on the price yet, but we expect it to be competitive. It is expected to be much cheaper than the 5G variant of the POCO M4 Pro. The 4GB + 64GB basic variant of M4 Pro 5G currently sells for Rs 14,999.
