Redmi K50 Extreme Edtion Spotted on Geekbench: Key Specifications Revealed

Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone named Xiaomi Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. The official company has announced that the smartphone will release in China soon. But before the phone arrive, some new leaks of the smartphone has been revealed on the internet. According to the reports, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will come with FHD+ display, 180 MP camera, and many more. Moreover, the smartphone has also appeared on Geekbench site, revealing some key specifications of this device. Let’s take a look.

The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has been spotted on Geekbench site revealing some key specifications of this deivce. The headset will come with a model number 22081212C. Geekbench says that the smartphone will have base clock speed of 202 GHz. It seems like we will see 12GB RAM in the phone with Adreno GPU. it may come with other RAM & storage variant. The smartphone hit 1339 and 4389 scores in single and multi core test respectivly. Additionally, the smartphone will run on Android 12 based on MIUI out of the box.

Display, CPU, and Software

According to our report, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition would come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, it may have a 120 Hz fast refresh rate with HDR 10+ support. The Redmi K50 Extreme Edition shall be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with octa-core processor. The processor will be paired with 8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB GB inbuilt storage. Additionally, the smartphone will run on Android 12 based on MIUI out of the box.

Camera and Battery

Another report said that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will come with a triple camera setup including a 200 MP primary camera with ISOCELL sensor, an 8 MP Ultra-Wide sensor, and a 2 MP Macro sensor. Latest reports said that the brand will feature a 108MP as the primary camera. However, the actual specifications will be revealed when the brand will launch the phone. There would be a 20 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. Moreover, the smartphone might bring a 5,000 mAh big battery with 120W fast charging support.

Connectivity and Security

Talking about connectivity, the smartphone will support 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging. For biometric security, the smartphone would have an in-display fingerprint sensor. There will be a dual speaker.

Some of the expert said that the phone will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi 12T globally.
