Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G on 5 August 2022 and listed on the official site with some images and revealed some key specifications of the device. Like, the smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery, 6.6-inch infinity-V display, 50 MP quad camera setup, etc. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed the price yet but it is expected to come with a price of Rs 17,999 in India. The smartphone will run on Android 12 with OneUI 4.1. Let’s take a look.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Design
As we can see in the above image, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will come with a simple design. On the rear side, there is a quad-camera setup with an LED flashlight. The cameras are set in a module and it creates a bump in the phone. On the center of the bottom, there is the brand’s logo.
Coming to the front side, there is a quite big display with a water drop notch (Samsung calls it “Infinity-V”) attached to the front camera. There is a bezel-less display with an average chin. The power button and the volume rocker are set on the right side of this smartphone.
The dimension of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is (165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4) mm (H x W x T) and the weight of the phone is 197 Grams. The smartphone will be available in four colors – Blue, Pink, White, and Black. However, the marketing is still unknown.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes with a 6.6-inch infinity-V FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Additionally, it would have a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A23 5G may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with octa-core processor. The processor will be paired with 4GB RAM & 64GB of inbuilt storage which may be expandable up to 1 TB. Additionally, the smartphone runs on Android 12 based on OneUI custom skin out of the box.
Camera and Battery
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes with a quad-camera setup including a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP Ultra-Wide camera, a 2 MP Macro sensor, and a 2 MP Depth (f/2.4) sensor with an LED flash. There is an 8 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. Moreover, there is a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Connectivity and Security
Talking about connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, and USB Type-C charging. For biometric security, the Samsung Galaxy A23 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Price in India (Expected)
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G price in India is around Rs 17,999 (Expected) for the base variant which would be 4GB + 64GB. Other reports said that the phone will have come at a price of Rs 19,999 for the 6GB+128GB model. The official brand hasn’t revealed the actual price yet. They will announce the price soon.
